Every founder/member of DHT Ventures has developed medical and high-tech products throughout our “day job” careers, resulting in over 76 collective years of experience. DHT Ventures started out as an evening and weekend activity for us, but with the recent retirement (woo hoo!) of some of us and the success of our patented HomeStar Safety™ Switch Guards, we want to spend our newfound time to focus on and grow this amazing product and establish a foundation to develop more in the future.
Dennis
Co-Founder & President
Dennis has 29 years of executive leadership, product development, R&D, program management, and engineering design experience in Fortune 500, small-, and medium-sized medical device and biotechnology companies. His last gig before retirement was leading a cardiovascular device company specializing in heart pumps for heart failure patients and cardiovascular imaging for stent placement & diagnostics.
In retirement, Dennis’ goal is to take DHT Ventures to the next level. In his free time, he loves designing and creating things with his 3D printers and workshop, working on home improvement projects, learning new skills, golfing, and volunteering at a local exotic pet rescue and education center.
Pamela
Vice President
Pamela has over 25 years of corporate research and quality assurance experience from a Fortune 500 medical device company, as well as manufacturing experience from the biotechnology industry. She is a quality systems expert that has supported the introduction of innovative medical application and biotechnology devices into the world market. After retirement, she owned a real estate investment company that rehabbed distressed properties and returned them back to the community.
In retirement while supporting DHT Ventures, Pamela enjoys the “3G”s: Gardening (she is a member of her local garden club), Golfing, and Grandkids. With Dennis, she also spends a lot of time volunteering at our local exotic pet rescue and education center.
Husam
Co-Founder & Vice President
Husam has over 22 years of senior management, program management, R&D, and product development experience in Fortune 500 and small medical device and diagnostics companies. He has developed hardware and software for medical infusion pumps and heart monitoring systems, as well as led top product development programs in biotechnology and diagnostics.
Looking forward to retirement someday, Husam spends his free time supporting his sons’ various sports activities and volunteering at their community’s Boys Team Charity events.
